His Majesty decided to compose this song during one of his visits to the School for the Blind, to inspire them with happiness and joy.

The English lyrics of the song originated from a verse called “Smiles” published in a book called “Bed Time Story”, which H.H.Prince Chakrabandh Pensiri said strangely but perfectly fitted with the melody. The Thai lyrics were also composed by H.H.Prince Chakrabandh Pensiri.

Having completed the composition, His Majesty granted permission to the School for the Blind to use this song as their school anthem and at the same time made sure that they were well taught on how to perform and sing the song which was now theirs.
