His Majesty composed “Suk Sanyalak” as the signature tune of His Majesty’s “Lay Kram Band” or “The Band of Antiquity” which met every Friday. The Band was made up of His Majesty’s close relatives and long time friends. The English and Thai lyrics were both written by M.R.Seni Pramoj, who was at that time, a member of the band. The words reflect the lively and friendly attitudes of the band members.
