Twilight

Music: H.M. King Bhumibol Adulyadej
Lyrics: H.H. Prince Chakrabandh Pensiri

When the sun is beaming,
Bright and lovely day,
The world is singing,
For all the clouds just roll away.

When the moon is beaming,
Soft and mellow night,
The world is singing,
For lovers love the moonlight.

But there are moments at the twilight,
When the day is blending with the night,
Life is so serene,
A dusky screen
Covers the world.

Then it seems so lifeless,
But only awhile.
A dawn to happiness,
Twilight is planned so to beguile.

When the golden sunbeam
Streams over the world,
The land is like a dream;
The pretty flowers and leaves unfurled.

When the silvery moonbeam
Shines on up above,
With twinkling star agleam
A wonderland of true love.

While the sunbeam kisses the moonlight,
When the day is blending with the night,
Life is so serene,
A dusky screen
Covers the world.

Twilight is but stillness,
Blessing in disguise,
A dawn to happiness,
A calm prelude to paradise.
